Meet Jean Thompson, Founder of Wings4Doves
Hello, I am Jean Thompson, an integrative counsellor and founder of Wings4Doves charity. My approach centres on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—to inspire true healing and resilience.
With deep roots in the Dulwich community, I combine traditional talk therapy, creative expression, and mindfulness to support each client’s unique journey.

• Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
• Trained with Place2Be (child therapy) and Body&Mind Centre (adult therapy)
• I am also a member of the Chelsea Arts Club, deepening my connections within the vibrant London arts community and continually exploring the healing power of creative expression.”
• Founder of Wings4Doves (charity no. 1192650, London, since 2020)
• Foster carer, parent to five, community organiser, and was PTA Chair at Dog Kennel Hill School

• Collaborated with the Horniman Museum (including Wind-rush Generation film and art exhibitions for local schools)

My Philosophy
Having faced my own challenges as a single parent, I understand the strength needed for healing. My work is driven by compassion, creativity, and a deep belief in every client’s ability to grow. Healing comes from addressing the whole person, not just symptoms.
